AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That paragraphs 04, 05, 06 and 07 of Section
14.204 Stop Intersections of the Municipal Code be and are
hereby amended to read as follows:
"04. All traffic on Touhy Avenue shall stop before entering
in or across the following intersections:
a. Busse Road (also known as Illinois Route 83)
b. Higgins Road (also known as Illinois Route 72)
c. Nicholas Boulevard.
"05. All traffic on Estes Avenue shall stop before entering
in or across the following intersections:
a. Elk Grove Boulevard
b. Busse Road (also known as Illinois Route 83)
C. Elmhurst Road (also known as York Road)
d. Nicholas Boulevard
"06. All traffic on Greenleaf Avenue shall stop before
entering in or across the following intersections:
a. Tonne Road
b. Busse Road (also known as Illinois Route 83)
C. Elmhurst Road (also known as York Road)
d. Nicholas Boulevard.
"07. All traffic on Lunt Avenue shall stop before entering
in or across the following intersections:
a. Tonne Road
b. Busse Road (also known as Illinois Route 83)
C. Elmhurst Road (also known as York Road)
d. Nicholas Boulevard."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
