ORDINANCE NO. 530
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHICH PROPERTY CONSISTS OF APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED ACRES AND IS
LOCATED BETWEEN LANDMEIER ROAD AND HIGGINS ROAD, WEST OF STATE ROUTE 83
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village Clerk of
the Village of Elk Grove Village by the sole owners of record, Chicago
Title and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust #51886, Natural Gas
Pipeline Company of America and Commonwealth Edison Company, of the
hereinafter described land and territory, for annexation to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of
any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village;
has five electors residing thereon, namely, Robert C. Smith, Dahlia
Smith, William R. Smith, Marcia Smith and Shari Raduenzel; and
WHEREAS, the said petitions are under oath and in all respects comply
with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and provided;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois have sxamined
said petitions and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village
that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petition to wit:

hereof as if fully set forth)
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is
not within the limits of any municipality, contains five electors,
namely, Robert C. Smith, Dahlia Smith, William R. Smith, Marcia Smith,
and Shari Raduenzel, and is not presently in any incorporated
municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said territory shall, be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in
such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
