AN ORDINANCE REVISING BUILDING FEES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 13.105 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village le and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"13.105 Fees) The Village C -t,__1' shall collect the
following fees for thf uction, repair or
alteration of any buit� :-ructure:
For a permit 'or suction or alteration
of a building or ,.L t_:.-, .-ee shall be at th
rate of $4.00 per $1,u00 f• -action thereof of
estimated construction val... In addition to
foregoing the applicant shall pay $3.00 per pjl,c:,
fixture; and $5.00 for a use and occupancy pert
The applicant for a permit for a single family
sidence building shall pay a fee of $10.00 when
making application for the purpose of reviewing plans
and specifications; an applicant seeking alteration
or remodeling of a single fami.ly residence and/or
detached structure thereto e,hall pay a fee of $5.00.
The applicant for a building permit for any
other type of construction shall pay a fee at the
rate of sixty cents per $1,000 of estimated construction
value when making applicat c; for the purpose of de-
ferring VillageAxpenj.. ir. examining and reviewing nl%
and specifications.
Section 2. There shall be added to the Muni•.. C,)_
of the Village of Elk Grove Village the following:

"13.105 A Construction Water. When making application
for a building permit the applicant shall pay a minimum
of $5.00 or $1.00 per 1,000 square foot of building
whichever be the greater sum for the use of water for
the construction of the prem:'ses. This charge shall .)e
in addition to all other water= charges provided for hera-
under.
Section 3. Section 13.106 o' the Municipal Code of ::i._
Village of Elk Grove Village be -d is hereby amended to read as

alteration of a central heating plant or heating unit
for such plant or central cooling plant or unit shall
be considered construction or alteration work within
the meaning of the first section of this article.
Installation or alteration of oil burning or gas
fired equipment and storage tanks shall conform to,
and be in accordance with the Standards for such
equipment as required by the Village Fire Prevention
Code.

Five (5) dollars for each central plant or unit;
Two (2) dollars for the installation of each
storage tank up to one thousand gallons capacity,
plus fifty cents for eaeh additional thousand
gallons of capacity.
No such permit shall be issued until the fee
is paid.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and afte its passage, approval and publication as
required by law.
