AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE NUMBER OF
FULL-TIME FIREMEN TO NINETEEN (19)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 6.101, as amended, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby further
amended to read as follows:
"6.101 Establishment.) There is hereby created and
established a Department of the Municipal Government of
the Village of Elk Grove Village which shall be known as
the Fire Department. Said Department shall consist of:
A Are Chief
Three (3) Lieutenants
Nineteen (19) full-time Firemen."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 9th day of July , 1968.
AYES: Trustees Chernick, Coney, Gibson, Keith, McGrenera, Zettek.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
