AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ADJACENT
TO PUBLIC PARKS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1: That Section 14.512 of the Municipal Code
of Elk Grove Village, the introductory paragraph of which reads
as follows:
"14.512 Additional no parking streets and areas). It
shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to permit
any vehicle to stand in any of the following places, except
when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, in com-
pliance with police direction, or to discharge passengers. Said
places in which parking is prohibited are as follows:" be and
is hereby amended by adding the following additional provisions:
22. On the East side of Carlisle Avenue, from Brantwood
Avenue to a point 450 feet South of the intersection of Carlisle
and Brantwood Avenues.
23. On the East side of Brantwood Avenue, from the.
Brantwood-Carlisle intersection, to a point 320 feet South of
the intersection of Brantwood Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard.
24. On the East side of Brantwood Avenue, from
Kennedy Boulevard 320 feet North to a point 95 feet South of
Brantwood Place.
25. On the North side of Kennedy Boulevard, from .10
Brantwood Avenue to a point 455 feet East (to the Salt Creek
Bridge).
26. On the North side of Kennedy Boulevard, from the
Salt Creek Bridge East 312 feet.
27. On the North side of East Elk Grove Boulevard
between Ridge Avenue and the East intersection of Victoria
Lane.
28. On the East side of Ridge Avenue between the
intersection of East Elk Grove Boulevard and & ,intersection
of Victoria Lane.
29. On the South and East sides of Victoria Lane
from Ridge Avenue East and South to the intersection of East
Elk Grove Boulevard.

30. Or 'he West side of Ridge Ave � from a point
110 feet North o- Tower Lane, North to a po,.t 110 feet South
of Edgeware Road.
31. On the East side of Crest Avenue from the inter-
section of Verde Lane, East, to a point 100 feet West of the
intersection of Lilac Lane.
32. On the North side of Verde Lane from the inter-
section of Crest Avenue, North, to a point 136 feet South of
the intersection of Lilac Lane.
33. On the South side of Clearmont Drive, from the
intersection of Ridge Avenue East to a point 110 feet West of
the intersection of Springdale Lane.
34. On the East side of Ridge Avenue, from the inter-
section of Clearmont Drive South to a point 113 feet North of
the intersection of Springdale Lane.
35. On the East side of Woodcrest Lane, from,a point
220 feet North of Briarwood Lane North a distance of 460 feet.
36. On the West side of Tonne Road, from a point 99
feet South of the intersection of Walnut Lane, thence South
650 feet to the North property line of the Tonne -Devon Shopping
Center property.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
