AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE N[JMBER
OF PATROLMEN TO TWENTY-OlE (21)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 5.001, as amended, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby further
amended to read as follows:
115.001 Creation.) There is hereby created a Police
Department, an executive department of the Village. The
Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police,
who shall be a Superintendent of Police, five (5) Sergeants
and twenty-one (21) Patrolmen, and such other members as
may be provided from time to time by the President and
Board of Trustees."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
