AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE, WHICH PROPERTY CONSISTS OF 10 ACRES MORE
OR LESS AND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF DEVON AVENUE
APPR O{IMATELY 1A.MILE EAST OF BUSSE ROAD: TO THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Fred Stander, Mary Stender, being
the sole owners of record and Arnold Liebling, the contract purchaser
of the hereinafter described land and territory„ for annexation to the
Village of Elk Grove Village; and

WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village;
has two electors residing thereon; namely the sole owners, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, =22nd day ofNovembPr , 1966s'" -
did pass and approve Resolution No.82-66which resolution did authorize the
President and Village Clerk to execute a pre -annexation agreement which
agreement did in fact provide for the annexation of the hereinafter described
property to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under'oath and in all respects comply with
the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have examined said petitions
and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and
territory be annexed thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petition to
wit:
Lots 4 and 5 in Devon Five Acre Farms tt a subdivision of the
West Half (1/2) of the West Half (1/2! of the Northeast
Quarter (1/4) of Sectiam 2 and that part of the East Half (1/2)
of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of said Section 2 lying East of
the East line of the West 9 feet thereof, excepting from all
of said premises the East Half (1/2) of the North 60 Acres
thereof conveyed to Ludwig Kopowzinski, at al by deed dated
May 27, 1913, and recorded in Book 110 of Deeds on Page 519
as Document 112247, all in Township 40 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village df Elk Grove Village, is not within
the limits of any municipality, contains two electors namely the sole owners
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same is
hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said
territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village,
as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is
hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an
accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to lax.
