AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY
ON HIGGINS ROAD NORTHWESTERLY OF ELMHURST ROAD
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE STREET
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public
meeting duly called and held according to law considered the
question of reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described
from R-1 to M-2,
AND WHEREAS the President and the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the
reccmmendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and
believe that the highest and best use of said real estate
is that of M-2;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook
and Du Page Counties, Illinois:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
to Regulate and Limit the Height and Bulk of Buildings; to
Regulate and Limit the Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas, and
to Regulate and Determine the Areas of Open Space within and
Surroudning Such Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and Restrict
the Location of Trades and Industries and the Location of
Buildings Designed for Specified Industrial Business, Residential
and other uses; to Divide the Entire Village of Elk Grove
Village into Districts for the Purpose of this Ordinance; to
Fix Standards to Which Buildings or Structures shall Conform;
to Prohibit Uses, buildings or structures Incompatible with
the Character of Such Districts Respectively; and to Prevent
Additions to and Alterations or Remodeling of Existing
Buildings or Structures in Such a Way as to Avoid the
Restrictions and Limitations Lawfully Imposed Hereunder, and
to Provide Penalties for Violation hereof", passed and approved
July 8, 1957 known as Ordinance #20 as amended, be amended
by reclassifying the following described real estate from
R-1 to M-2:
Parcels 2 and 3 as described on Exhibit A attached.
Section 2: That said real estate as reclassified
shall be subject to all the limitations and conditions
placed upon properties in the M-2 classification as defined
in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply
with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred
($100) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall contitute a separate
offense.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, according to law.

Parcel 2•
.That part of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian described as follows: Beginning at a point on the center
line of Higgins Road, 151.90 feet Southeasterly of the intersection
of the center line of Higgins Road and the West line of the East
Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26; thence Southeasterly
along the center line of Higgins Road to the Southwesterly corner
of land conveyed to School District by deed recorded in the Re-
corder's office of Cook County, Illinois as Document Number 9169769;
thence Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of said land
conveyed to School District, 441.40 feet to the Northwesterly corner
thereof; thence North on a line parallel with the East line of said
Section 26 to the intersection of said parallel line with a line
drawn 801.55 feet South of and parallel with the North line of said
Southeast Quarter; thence West along the last described parallel
line to a point on said parallel line, 949.28 feet West of the East
line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26; thence Southwesterly
to the place of beginning in Cook County, Illinois.

41 North, Range 11, described as follows: Beginning at a point
which is 353.34 feet East of the Northwest corner of the East Half
of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 26 measured along the
North line of said Southeast Quarter; thence Southwesterly along a
line drawn South 180 30' West from the last mentioned line to the
center line of Higgins Road; thence Southeasterly along the center
line of Higgins Road 167.26 feet; thence Southeasterly along the
center line of Higgins Road from last mentioned point which deflects
Southerly 00 23' 30" Southerly 151.90 feet; thence Northeasterly
to a point in the North line of the Southeast Quarter; thence West
along the North line of said Southeast Quarter, 290.09 feet to the
place of beginning in Cook County, Illinois, (except that part of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Be-
ginning at a point which is 353.34 feet East of the Northwest
corner of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section
measured along the North line of said Southeast Quarter; thence
Southwesterly along a line drawn South 180 30' West from last men-
