AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.301 OF FIRE PRE-
VENTION CODE RELATING TO ADOPTION OF 1965 FIRE
PREVENTION -CODE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and Du Page:
SECTION 1: That Section 6.301 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be and it is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"6.301 Adoption of Fire Prevention Code. The Fire
Prevention Code other than the provisions relating to
fees for licenses and permits and relating to penalties,
entitled The Fire Prevention Code of 1965 and supplements
as of date hereof as set forth by the American Insurance
Association and the standards of the National Fire Codes
1964-1965 edition and supplements thereto as of date
hereof are hereby adopted as the Fire Prevention Code of
the Village except insofar as there may be a conflict with
specific provisions of the Fire Prevention Code of the
Village of Elk Grove. Village as specifically set forth,
or State statute, in which event the same shall prevail
and the conflicting provision of the adopted code shall
be of no effect."
Three copies of the above Codes and supplements are and for
more than fifteen (15) days have been kept in the office of the
Village Clerk.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
