AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE, WHICH PROPERTY CONSISTS OF 40.1 ACRES LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF BIESTERFIELD ROAD 1325.92 FEET WEST OF
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the sole owners
of record, Vale Development Company, an Illinois Corporation
and the Chicago Title and Trust Company as Trustee under
Trust #46221, of the hereinafter described land and territory,
for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; has two electors residing thereon,
namely, Raymond McLelland and his wife, Johnnie McLelland, and
WHEREAS, the said petitions are under oath and in all respects
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made
and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois
have examined said petitions and believe it to be to the best
interest of said village that said land and territory be annexed
thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said
petition to wit:
The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains
two electors namely, Raymond McLelland and his wife Johnnie
McLelland, and is not presently in any incorporated municipality,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by
law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk cf the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said
territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
