AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.103 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE RELATING TO MEETINGS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Chapter 2, Article I, Section 2.103 of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended
to read as follows:
"2.103 Meetings) The Village Board shall hold its regular
meetings on the first, second, third and fourth Tuesday of
each month at 8:00 P.M. and no notice of such meetings shall
be required. The meeting place of said board shall be at the
Municipal Building, Landmeier Road near Tonne Road in the
Village of Elk Grove Village unless otherwise directed, provided,
however, that if the meeting date shall fall on a legal holiday
the Village Board shall melt on the day following.
"Special meetings may be cabled by the President of the Village or
any three Trustees, in which event the President or Trustees
calling such meeting shall file with the Village Clerk a statement
in writing, signed by him or them, setting forth the purpose of such
special meeting and the day and hourthereof, which shall not be
fixed at less than three days from the filing of any such statement.
Thereupon the Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be served
upon the President and each Trustee at least 24 hours before the
time fixed for such meeting, a notice in writing, setting forth
the purpose of such special meeting and the time and place of holding
the same. Upon agreement of all Trustees, prior notice of a special
meeting may be waived."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
