AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.402 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE DEFINING THE TERM "RESTAURANT" TO
INCLUDE "EMPLOYEE CAFETERIA"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook,
and DuPage, Illinois: .
Section 1. That Section 21.402 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be amended to read as follows:
"21.402 Definition.) As used in this article the term "restaurant"
shall be construed to mean and include any place where food or
drink (other than alcoholic liquor) is prepared or served to the
public or to employees for consumption on the premises♦ anci-t1TL=

Catering services serving employees of the owner or tenant of
the premises are also co sidered as operat, ng restaurants for
purposes hereunder excluding mobile catering services."

Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval and publication according
to law. s�
