AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGEIS ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING.TO.PROPERTY
FRONTING ON TONNE ROAD AND LYL'X; SOUTH OF LANDMEIER ROAD,
280 FEET NORTH OF PRATT BLVD. AS EXTENDED AND HAVING A
DEPTH OF APPROXIMATELY 368 FEET.
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting
duly called and held according to law (Appeal No. 65-3 )
considered the question of reclassifying the real estate here-
inafter described from M-2 (manufacturing), its present zoning
classification to M-1 (manufacturing), and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recommenda-
tion of said P1an.Commission, find and believe that the highest
and best use of said real estate is that of M-1 (manufacturing).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of .Elk Grove Village, Cook and
DuPage Counties, Illinois;
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to
Regula a an it the Height and Bulk of Buildings; to Regulate
and Limit the Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas, and to Regulate
and Determine the Areas of Open Space Within and Surrounding
Such.Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and Restrict ;^;e Location
of Trades and Industries and the Location of Buil.dixigs Designed
for.Specified Industrial Business, Residential and other uses;
to Divide the Entire Village of Elk Grove Village into Districts
for the Purpose of this Ordinance; to Fix Standards to Which
Buildinns or Structures shall Conform; to Prohibit Uses,
buildings or structures Incompatible with the Character of Such
Districts Respectively; and to Prevent Additions to and
Alterations or Remodeling of Existing Buildings or Structures
in Such a Way as to Avoid the Restrictions and Limitations
Lawfully Imposed Hereunder, and to Provide Penalties for Viola-
tion hereof," passed.and approved July 8, 1957, known as
Ordinance'No. 20, as amended, be amended by reclassifying the
following described real estate from M-2 to M-1.
(The legal description of said real estate is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if here fully set out.)
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon
properties in the M-1 (Manufacturing)Classification.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
"That part of Sections 27 and 34, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the third principal meridian, lying
Southerly of the center line of Landmeier Road, North
of the North line of Centex Industrial Park Unit 23,
being a subdivision in said Section 34 and West of a
line drawn at right angles to the North line of said
Centex Industrial Park Unit 23, from a point on said
North line, 30.0 feet West of the Northeast corner of
Lot 45 in said subdivision (excepting therefrom that
part taken for Tonne Road and except that part taken
for Chicago District Pipe Line Co.), all in Cook
County, Illinois."
or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred
(NJ100) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation
is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4, That this ordinance shall be in full force
and of ec�� and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
