AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MEETING NIGHTS
AND AGENDA FOR THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and Du Page, State of Illinois:
Section 1. That Paragraph 1 of Section 2.103 of the Munici-
pal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"2.103 Meetings. The Village Board shall
hold its regular meetings on the second and fourth
Tuesday of each month at 8:00 P.M. and no notice of
such meetings shall be required. The meeting place
of said board shall be at the Municipal Building,
Landmeier Road near Tonne Road in the Village of Elk
Grove Village unless otherwise directed, provided,
however, that if the meeting date shall fall on a
legal holiday the Village Board shall meet on the day
following."
Section 2. That Section 2.201 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"2.201 Order of Business. The order of business of
the Board of Trustees of the Village shall be as follows:
(A) The reading of the journal of the proceedings
of the last meeting or meetings, amendment and approval of same,
unless dispensed with by the board.
(b) Reports of Village officers.
(c) Reports of standing committees.
(d) Reports of boards and commissions.
(e) Reports of special committees.
(f) Reports of citizens' committees.
(g) Presentation of petitions, communications,
resolutions and ordinances.
(h) Unfinished business.
(i) New business.
(j) Adjournment."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
