AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE ADOPTING THE 1965 EDITION OF THE BASIC BUILDING CODE
OF THE BUILDING OFFICIALS CONFERENCE OF AMERICA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 13.102 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended to read as follows:
13.102 Adoption of regulations.) The provisions of the
Suburban Building Officials Conference Building Code March
1964 Edition as amended by Section 13.102A an well as the
provisions of the 1965 Edition of the Basic Building Code
recommended by the Building Officials Conference of America
except insofar as the former shall contradict the latter, are
hereby adopted as the regulations governing the cm struction
of buildings and other structures in the Village; and it shall
be unlawful to erect or construct any building or structure
in the Village in violation of, or without compliance with
these regulations.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
