AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 1E. 57 ACRES LOCATED ON
THE ITEST SIDE OF ARLINGTOPI HEIGHTS ROAD
APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET NORTH OF THE INTER-
SECTION OF ARLINGTON FIGHTS ROAD AND DEVON
AVENUE TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: The East 607.0
feet, as measured along the South line thereof, of the South 10 acres of
the North half of the hest half of the Southeast quarter of Section 32,
Township I61 North, Range 11, East. of the Third Principal Meridian in
Cool; County, Illinois, is within the unincorporated territory of Cook
County, and not within any municipality and is lees than sixty (60)
acres in area: and
11MIZiS, said land and ~territory is both contiguous and wholly
bounded by the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
11HEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and particularly
Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 211, thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963)
Provides for the anne::ation of said territory upon the passage of an
ordinance by the Village; and
MIEREAS, the President and. Board of Trustees of the Village o;;
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cool: and DuPage, find and believe it to
be to the best interest of said Village that the aforedescribed land
and territory be annexed thereto;
N01I, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cool: and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory legally described as
follows, to -wit:
The East 607.0 feet, as measured along the South line thereof,
of the South 10 acres of the North half of the West half of
the Southeast quarter cf Section 32, Township 1:1 North, RanEc
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cool: County, Ill-
inois.
Mich territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village and is
wholly bounded by the Village of Elk Grove and is not presently in any
incorporated i:nnicipality but is in the unincorporated territory of Cool:
County and whereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in size,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elh Grove Village so
that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines
and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Ell: Grove
Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cool: County, Illinois.
Section 3• That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to lair.
