AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 110 ACRES OF PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF DEVON AND ELMHURST ROADS PURSUANT TO A PRE-AXNEXATION AGREEMENT HERETOFORE ENTERED INTO BY THE VILLAGE AND THE PROPERTY WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the following named parties: Donald M. Kidder, Elsie Knaack, Erwin F. Knaack, Agnes D. Knaack, Violet Burmeister, John Burmeister, LaSalle Nationalr.Bank, as Trustee, City Wide Insulation Company, Inc., an Illinois Corporation, and Citizens Bank and Trust Company of Park Ridge, Illinois, as Trustee, being the sole record owners of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned petitions have been joined in by George Schroeder and Anna Margaret Schroeder, the sole electors residing on the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of theVllage of Elk Grove Vill ge, Counties of Cook and DuPage, on 3 da of , 1964, did pass and approve Resolution No, y5'p!o`f which resolution did authorize the President and Village Clerk to execute a pre -annexation agreement which agreement did in fact provide for the annexation of the hereinafter described property to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have examined all petitions, the resolution aforementioned and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petitions o wit: The North 17 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 20 Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois. ALSO The South half of the East half of the Northeast quarter and the South 20 acres of the North half of the East half of the North East quarter of Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, except t%at part of the South 20 acres of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of the North 10 acres of the said South 20 acres of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4, said point being 50 ft. West of the East line of the said Northeast 1/4; thence West along the South line of said North 10 acres, 480 ft; thence South parallel with the East line of the said Northeast 1/4 300 ft; thence East parallel with the South line of the said North 10 acres 460 ft. to a point SO ft. West of the East line of the Northeast 1/4; thence North parallel with the East line of said Northeast 1/4 300 ft. to place of beginning, in DuPage County, Illinois. ALSO The East half of the West half of the North East fractional q uarter of Section 2, Township 40 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois. whieh territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, Is not within the limits of any municipality, contains electors who r.—Flo have joined in said petition and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois. Section 3 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from an after its passage and approval according to law.
