All ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 10 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO POLICE MAGISTRATES
dHEREAS, under the new Judicial Article and legislation, all
Judicial offices in the Counties of Cook and DuPage will function
through their Circuit Court and not through offices established by
the Village; and
WHEREAS, under said circumstances it is unnecessary for the
Village of Elk Grove Village to have ordinances providing for a
Police Magistrate;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois;
Section 1. That Chapter 10 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Elk Grove Village relating to Police Magistrates be and is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on May 1, 1965 and thereafter.
