NOW2 TfiE MMRE, BE IT ORDAIN by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPsge, Illinois:
Section 1. That Paragraph C of Section 17.211 of
Chapter 17, Article II of the P9anicipal Code of Elk Grove
Village be amended to read as follows:
" (C) Bio person having the right and ability to
prevent same shall knowlingly, carelessly or negligently
allots any dog or any animal to commit any nuisance upon schcbl
premises, public playground, public park, public parkways,
sidewalks or streets within the Village nor shall any such
person omit to do any reasonable or proper act to take any
reasonable or proper precaution to prevent such dog or other
animal from commiting such nuisance in or upon places here-
tofore specified."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
