AN ORDINANCE CREATIAG THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT
OF 'THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 - That Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
"Article IX SUPERINTENDENT OF THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT.
"Section 4.911. There is hereby created the office of the
Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department. He shall
be appointed by the President with the advise and consent of
the Board of Trustees and shall hold office for an indefinite
term."
"Section 4.912. Duties. The Superintendent of the Water
and Sewer Department shall be responsible for the operation
and maintenance of the water and sewer properties of the
Village of Elk Grove Village and shall supervise personnel
necessarily involved in operating and maintaining same. He
shall have such further duties as may be delegated to him by
the President and Board of Trustees."
Section 2 - This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
