AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLACE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals acting as a Zoning
Commission has considered the question of amending the text of
the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village so as
to prohibit business uses in the M-1 Light Industrial Zoning
District, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having duly
considered the recommendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals,
consider it to the best interest of the Village that the foregoing
amondments to the text of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Elk Grove Village be passed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Article XII, Section 2 of the Elk Grove
Village Zoning Ordinance be amended by deleting therefrom as a
permitted use the following:
"Any use permitted in the B-1 Business District."
Section 2. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk
Grove Village be amended by adding to Section 2 of Article XII
under those uses specifically excluded from the district the fol-
lowing:
"Any business use permitted under any provision of
this ordinance."
Section 3. That the text amendments adopted hereby shall
take pre ei'—rence over any and all ordinances previously passed in
conflict herewith.
Section 4,_ That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect T_r_o_m__a_nT after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
