HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3811 - 5/9/2023 - Special Use Zoning Ordinance- Amending Section 7B-5-2:C(1) and Section 7B-5-2:DORDINANCE NO.3811 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7B-5-2:C (1) OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO CONDITIONAL USES AND SECTION 711-5-2:1) OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SPECIAL USES WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a Text Amendment to Section 7B-5-2:C(1), Conditional Uses, by removing Automobile related retail and service facilities and removing Drive -through facilities and amending Section 713-5-2:1), Special Uses, by adding Drive -through facilities; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation and findings of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that the proposed Text Amendment be approved to the Zoning Ordinance as recommended by the Plan Commission be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That Section 7B-5-2-:C (1), Conditional Uses, be amended by deleting Automobile related retail and service facilities and Drive -through facilities therefrom. Section 2: That Section 713-5-2:1), Special Uses, be amended by adding Drive -through facilities. Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
