AN ORDINANCE PROTECTING THE
PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Health of the State of Illinois
requires that all sewerage facilities within a distance of 150 feet
radially from all municipal water supply wells shall be constructed and
located in conformity with the rules and regulations and minimum re-
quirements of the Department of Public Health of the State of Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, it is the consensus of opinion of the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois that such
an ordinance will be in the best interests of the people of the Village
of Elk Grove Village and be a protection for new water supply wells
which may be constructed in the future:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois that all sewerage
facilities within a distance of 150 feet radially from all municipal
water supply wells shall be constructed and located in conformity with
the minimum requirements of the Department of Public Health of the
State of Illinois.
