HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 344 - 7/2/1964 - WATER SPRINKLER BAN/ESTABLISHORDINANCE NO. 344 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A WATER SPRINKLING BAN IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AMENDING SECTION 22 A .701 of the MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1. That Section 22 A .701 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read as follows: "22 A .701 During the period commencing June 1 through and including September 15 of each year all persons who reside or occupy premises in the Village shall not sprinkle lawns or shrubbery with water distributed by the Village." Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED and APPROVED this 2 day of July, 1964 James R.
