OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AMENDING SECTION 22A.701 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page Counties, Illinois:
Section 1r That Section 22A.701 of the Municipal Code of the Village of
Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"22A.701 Water Sprinkling Restrictions. All persons who reside
or occupy premises in the Village shall not sprinkle lawns or
shrubbery with water distributed by the Village except as follows:
1. All persons who reside or occupy premises designated
by a street address which is an even number shall be
permitted to sprinkle between the hours of twelve (12)
noon and four (4) p.m. and between the hours of nine (9)
p.m. and twelve (12) midnight on Wednesday, Friday
and Sunday of each week and on no other days.
2. All persons who reside or occupy premises designated
by a street address which is an odd number shall be
permitted to sprinkle between the hours of twelve (12)
noon and four (4) p.m. and between the hours of nine (9)
p.m. and twelve (12) midnight on Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday of each week and on no other days.
3. Upon application to the Village Clerk property owners
may obtain a special permit to sprinkle new lawns for
up to four hours per day every day for a period not to
exceed four weeks."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
