AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, WHICH PROPERTY IS ON THE EAST
SIDE OF ROUTE 83 AND ON THF TTORTH SIDE OF DEVON AVFNUE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the Chicago Title
and Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No, 41235, being the
sole owner of record of the hereinafter described land and
territory, for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said property, and
WHEREAS, said petition is
complies with the requirements
and provided, and
under oath and in all respects
of the Statutes in such cases made
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have
examined said petition and believe it to be to the best interest
of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1, That all land and territory described in said
petition to wit:
That portion of the South half of the Southwest quarter
of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 1.1, East of the
Third Principal. Meridian, (except the East 60 acres
thereof) in Cook Count7, Illinois, lying North of a
line 826,16 ft. North of and parallel to the North line
of Devon Avenue.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that
hereafter said territory shall. be included within the boundary lines
and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and
provided.
Section 2, That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village 'ishereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois,
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to l.aw.
