AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY TEN ACRES
OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF DEVON AVENUE
TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
by Chicego Title and Trust Company as Trustee under Trust No.
42730, being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter described
land and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Vil-
lage, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said land, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village have examined said petition and believe
it to be to the best interests of said Village that said territory
be annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition, towit:
The East 10 acres of the South half of the Southwest
quarter of Section 35, Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so
that hereafter said territory shall be included within the bound-
ary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case
made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Vote: Ayes: Trustees Dillon, Pahl, Young, Zettek; President Gibson
Nays: None
Absent: Trustees Keith, Smith.
