AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF LANDHEIER ROAD TO THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Villwre of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illi-
nois, by Chicago Title and Trust Company, trustee under Trust No..
38909,.being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter described
land and territroy, for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, and
WHET?EAS, there are no electors residing on said land,,
and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village have examined said petition and be-
lieve it to be to the best interests of said Village that said
territory be annexed thereto,
NOW, THELEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPago, Illinois:
Section 1.. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition, towit:
That part of Lot 7 in Subdivision of Estate of Henry
Landmeier, being part of Sections 26 and 35, Township
41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to plat acknowledged on December 4, 1916 by
Richard H._Landmeier, Albert Landmeior, Otto Landmeier
and Gustav Landmeier and filed on March 2, 1917 in the
office of Registrar of Titles, Cook County, Illinois,
described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast cor-
ner of said Lot 7, being intersection of East line of
Southwest quarter of Section 26 with the center line of
Landmeier Road; thence Northwesterly along the center
line of Landmoier Road 132 feet; thence South on a line
parallel with the East line of Lot 7, 168.83 feet; thence

Landmoier Road 132 foot to the East line of said Lot 7;
thence North on the East line of Lot 7, 168.83 feet to
the place of beginning, Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to tho Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk
Grovo Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
PASSED this 1st day of November, 1962.
Vote: Ayes: Trustees Dillon, Pahl, Young, Zettek; President Gibson
Nays: None.
Absent: Trustees Keith, Smith.
