AN ORDINALE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT
OF COOK COUNTY COMPRISING APPROXIMATELY 139 ACRES AND LOCATED BETWEEN BISNER
ROAD ON THE EAST, BIESTERFIELD ROAD ON THE SOUTH, ROHLWING ROAD ON THE WEST
AND HAVING AS ITS NORTHERN BOUNDARY A LINE PARALLEL TO AND SOME 1,770 FEET
MORE OR LESS NORTH OF SAID PIESTERFIELD ROAD
WHEREAS, the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, a municipal corporation
of the State of Illinois, is the sole owner of record of the hereinafter
legally described property, and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
contains no electors residing thereon and is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, property owned by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County can
be annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village subject to the consent of
said Forest Preserve District to said annexation, as provided for in
Section 7-1-2 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, a copy of
such consent will be attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the foregoing land and territory owned by the Forest
Preserve District of Cook County, a municipal corporation of the State of
Illinois, and legally described as follows:
The South 452.50 feet of the West half of fractional
Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian and the South 452.50 feet of the East
half of said fractional Section 30, together with the
North half of the North half of the North half of Section
31, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is referred to above, is contiguous to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains
no electors residing thereon, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be
included within the boundary lines of the Village of Elk Grove Village
as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village is hereby
directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance, together with a
resolution of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County consenting to
the annexation of the above described land to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, together with an accurate plat of said territory with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

Vote: Ayes: Trustees Dillon, Keith, Pahl, Smith, Young, Zettek, President Gibson.
Nays: None.
