AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village by Vale Development Company, an Illinois Corporation,
being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and territory, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is uninhabited
and has no electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects complies with the
requirements of the statutes in such cases made and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village
have examined said petition, have considered the question of annexation of the
territory described therein, and believe it to be to the best interests of the
municipality that such territory be in fact annexed thereto.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, counties of Cook and Dupage, Illinois:
Section 1: That all lands and territories described in said petition., to wit:
The North half of the West half of the Southeast Quarter (except the North 390 feet
thereof and except the South 10 acres thereof) in Section 32, Township 41 North,
Range 11i East of the Third Principal Meridians

The North half of the East half of the Southwest Quarter (except the South 10 acres)
in Section 32; Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County; Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within the
limits of any municipality, contains no electors and is not presently in any incor—
porated municipalityy be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove
Village so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines
and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is
hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate
plat of said territory with the recorder of reeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 7th day of March, 1963.
Vote: AYESi Trustees Dillon, Keith, Pahl, Smith, Young, Zettek; President Gibson.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
