AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPS" TO THE VILIAGE OF ELK GROVE VULAGE
kHEREAS, a written petition fs� been filed with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, and i.e Development Company, an Illinois Corporation,
being the sole owners of record of ire hereinafter described land and territory, and
WHEREAS, said land and terri Lry is not within the corporate limir,s of any
municipality but is contiguous to 7.1a Village of Elk Grove Village, has one electcn
residing thereon, namely, Harold Darrington, who has joined in the pet:'.tion for
annexat:lon, and
WHEREAS, said petition is u�.ior oath and in all respects complies with the
requirEnrents of the statutes in s•.L;}i cases made and provided, and
WdEREAS, the President and Poard of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village
have examined said petition, have-:onsidered the question of annexation of the
territory described therein, and believe it to be the best interests of the
municipality that such territory be in fact annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Dupage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all lands and territories described in said petition, to wit:
The West half of the Southeast Quarter (except highway) of Section 36, Township 41,
North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within the
limits of any municipality, contains one elector, namely, Harold Darrington who has
joined in the petition for annexation, and is not presently in any incorporated
municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines of said
Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is
hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate
plat of said territory with the recorder of deeds of Cook County, .:Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.

Vote: AYES: Trustees - Dillon, Keith, Pahl, Smith, Young, Zettek, President Gibson.
