ORDINANCE NO. -:2 G 1,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE TO PROVIDE FUR
REGULATION OF INCINERATORS
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT UhDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code cf Elk Grove Vil-
lage is hereby amended by adding to Chapter 13 thereof the fol-
low ing t
"ARTICLE VIII. INCINERATORS.
"13.801. Adoption of Standards. The standards of the
National Board of Fire mderwriters for incinerators, as recommended
by the National Fire Protection Association (NBFU Pamphlet No. 62)0
is hereby adopted by the Village as the Standards and Code of the
Village regulating the installation and maintenance of Incinera-
tors.
^13.802. The Village Clerk shall at all times have on
hand three printed copies of Pamphlet NBFU No. 82 for viewing by
any interested person.
"13.803. Penalty. Any person, firm, company or cor-
poration that shall install, cause to be installed or maintain an
incinerator which does not comply with the Standards set forth in
Section 13.801 of this Code shall be deemed guilty of an offense,
punishable upon conviction by a fine of not less than x$'5.00 nor
more than 1200 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be
deemed committed for each day on which or during which a violation
occurs or continues."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,
according to law.
