AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.209 OF THE
MUiICIPAL CODE OF THE VLTd.►GE OF ELK GROVE
VILLA(Z RELATING TO STANDING COMMITTED
NOW9 THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1, That Section 2.20,) of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to
read as follows=
"2.209 COdit'ITTEES.) The following shall be the stand-
ing committees of the board of trustees:
"(a) Building and Public Property
"(b) Finance
"(c) Judiciary, Planning and Zoning
"(d) Public Relations and Personnel
"(e) Public Safety
"(f) Streets and Parks
"(gi) Watt�er and Sewer
"Siu� =s committees shall be created from time to
time as directed by the Board of Trustees.
"All standing and special committees, shall consist
of three members each, including the chairman; unless the Board
shall otherwise direct. All committees shall be appo-nted by
the President."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
