AN ORDINANCE AMENDING UHAPTER 22A WATER AND SFIWER.
SAID A'MEND'MENT RELATING TO RATES AND ADOPTION OF
RULES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, that
Section 1. That Section 22A.109
of the Millage of Elk Grove V_llage be
22A.110.
Section 2. That Section 22x.109

amended to read as
1122A.109 - The Village reserves the right to refuse
water or sewer service or to terminate the same
if the applicant at any time refuses to abide by
the rules and regulations which have been estab-
lished by the President and Board of Trustees from
time to time."
Section 3. That Section 22A.401 of the iviunicipal Code
of the Vi T1age of Elk Grove Village is hereby amended to read as
follows:
t122A.401 - All property upon which any building has
been built or may hereafter be erected except
'Municipal buildings owned by the Village of Elk
Grove Village, having a connection with any mains
or pipes,-orhich are or hereafter may be constructed
and used in connection with the Village water system,
shall pay the follovring rates per month.
First 4 000 gallons or less per month - 44.00
Next 4,600 gallons per month - 650 per 1,000 gallons
Next 4,000 gallons per month - 450 per 1,000 gallons
All in excess of 12,000 gallons per month - 350
per 10000 gallons.
A minimum charge shall be made to each consumer
dependent upon the size of meter required for the
installation in accordance with the following schedule:

Section 4. That Section 22A.402 of the Municipal Code
of thei1 age o3 Elk Grove Village is hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effectroil` n and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
