AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF FOREMAN OF PUDLIC 0RKS, AMENDING
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illindet
Section 1. That Article IV of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village is
hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
114.407. Foreman of Public Works. There is hereby created the office of
Foreman of Public Works. Said Foreman of Public Works shall be appointed
by the President by and with the consent of the Board of Trustees.
"4.408. Duties. The duties of the Foreman of Public Works shall be that
of a working supervisor over all public works and property; he shall be
subject to the authority of the Superintendent of Public Works or, in the
absence thereof, the President of the Village of Elk Grove Village or such
person or committee as he shall designate,"
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
