AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILIAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAUE ZONIsU ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING SORE 37 ACNES FROh R-3 (6,000 SQUARE FOOT SINGLE FMIILY
DISTRICT) TO A-2 (MULTIPLE FAMILY D6ELLL4G DISTRICT)
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
sitting as a commission at a public meeting duly called and held according
to law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-3 (6,000 square foot
single family district) to A-2 (multiple family dwelling district), the real
estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having considered the recom-
mendations of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that the
highest and best use of the real estate herein is that of A-2 (multiple
family dwelling district);
Naj, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "an ordinance to regulate and limit
the height and bulk of buildings, to regulate and limit the intensity of
the use of lot areas, and to regulate and determine the areas of open spaces
within and surrounding such buildings; to classify, regulate and restrict
the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed
for specified industrial, business, residential and other uses; to divide
the entire Village of Elk Grove Village into districts for the purpose of this
ordinance; to fix standards to which buildings or structures shall conform;
to prohibit uses, buildings or structures incompatible with the character of
such districts respectively; and to prevent additions to and alterations or
remodeling of existing buildings or structures in such a way as to avoid the
restrictions and limitations lawfully imposed hereunder, and to provide
penalties for violation hereof," passed and approved July 8, 1957, known as
Ordinance No. 20, as amended; be amended by reclassifying from R-3 (6,000
square foot single family district) to A-2 (multiple family dwelling district)
the following described real estate:
That part of the North half of Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian and that part of Out Lot "A" in Elk Grove
Village Section 4, being a Subdivision in the South half of Section 28 and
the North half of Section 33, both in Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian bounded and described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the Southeasterly line of Biesterfield Parkway, as dedicated,
in Elk Grove Village Section 3, being a Subdivision in Sections 28, 29 and
33, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian 135 feet
Southwesterly as measured along said Southeasterly line of Biesterfield Parkway,
of the intersection of said Southeasterly line and the Southwesterly line of
East Elk Grove Boulevard, as dedicated, in said Elk Grove Village Section 4
(the Southeasterly line of Biesterfield Parkway having a bearing of North 600
01 for purposes of this description); thence South 300 01 East, 80 feet;
thence South 660 Of East 270 feet; thence South 480 0f East, 90 feet, thence
South 20 0' West 125 feet; thence South 880 0f East 180 feet; thence East to
a point on the West line of Ridge Avenue, as dedicated in Elk Grove Village
Section 79 being a Subdivision in said Section 33, 270 feet South of the
intersection of said West line of Ridge Avenue and the Southerly line of
East Elk Grove Boulevard aforesaid; thence South along said East line of
Ridge Avenue to the Northerly boundary line of Elk Grove Village Section 93
being a Subdivision in said Section 33, thence Westerly along said Northerly
boundary line to the East line of Cypress Lane, as dedicated in said Elk
Grove Village Section 9; thence North along the East line and said East line
of Cypress Lane extended North 732.72 feet to a point of curve; thence Northerly
along a curve concave Easterly and having a radius of 367.0 feet, a distance of
224.19 feet to a point; thence Northerly along a line tangent to the last
described curve 43.33 feet to a point of curve; thence Northerly along a
curve concave Westerly and having a radius of 276.50 feet, a distance of
259.49 feet to a point; thence Northerly along a line tangent to the last
described curve 50 feet, more or less to a point on the Southeasterly line of
said Biesterfield Parkway 632.93 feet Southwesterly of the place of beginning;
thence Northeasterly 632.93 feet to the place of beginning, in Cook County,
Illinois.

Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to
all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the A-2
(multiple Family Dwelling District), as defined in said ordinance
heretofore mentioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys,
omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement
of any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall be fined not more than
One hundred (100) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation
is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
