AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.003 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE COT?CERNING
FEES FOR TRUCKS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 15.003 of the Municipal Code
of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
'15.003 Fees.
"Motor bicycle and scooter $3.00
"Motorcycle 5.00
"Passenger cars 5.00
"Trucks - having a gross weight of not
more than 10,000 pounds, including the
weight of vehicle and maximuii load 10.00
"Trucks - having a gross woight of more
than 10,000 pounds but not more than
20,000 pounds, including the weight of
vehicle and maximum load 15.00
"Trucks - having a gross weight of more
than 20,000 pounds, including the weight
of vehicle and maximum load 25.00
"An additional fee of One ($1) Dollar shall be paid if
the application for license is not made until after
March 1st of any year.
"The horsepower and weight shall be determined in the
manner prescribed by statute for determining these
factors forthe purpose of fixing State license fees."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
