CHAPTER 4 OF MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO ARTICLE VII, VILL: E
HISTORIAN
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustaes
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook �. d D,,Patc ,
Illinois:
Section 1. That Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
"Article VII. Village Historian.
"Section 4.701. There is hereby created the office of Village Historian
who shall maintain a full and complete record of the history of the Village,
its organization, its founding, and all events which have contributed to
its growth. Said Village Historian shall be appointed by the President
with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law„
PASSED this 27th day of August, 1962.
