AN ORDIAhNCE ANNILE NG CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGi, L"HigMS, a written petition has been filed with the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, by Vale Development Company, a corporation, being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said land, and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any muni- cipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made and provided, and i,iHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village have examined said petition and believe it to be to the best interests of said Village that said territory be annexed thereto, NGIJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That the land and territory described in the above mentioned petition, towit: The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this _7 day of Au ust , 1962.
