HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 176 - 7/10/1961 - ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL 61/62ORDINANCE NO. 176 AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE VILLAf9; OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES DESIGNATED AS THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL" FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING MAY 1, 1961 AND ENDING APRIL 30, 1962. BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1: That this ordinance shall be termed and designated as the "Annual Appropriation Bill" for the period beginning May 1, 1961 and ending April 30, 1962. GENERAL CORPORATE PURPOSES $351,764.00 CIVILIAN DEFENSE 2,000.00 APPROPRIATION FOR PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING BONDS AND INTEREST 26,974.86 APPROPRIATION FCR POLICE PENSION FUND 5,600.00 LIBRARY APPROPRIATION 40,000.00 $4269338.86 Article VI - Motor Fuel Tax Fund All moneys received from the State Motor Fuel Tax as provided in act entitled "An Act in Relation to a tax upon the privilege of operating motor vehicles upon highways therein and making certain appropriations in connection therewith," approved March 23, 1939, as amended, are hereby appropriated to be expended in accordance with the provisions of the said Act. Article VII - Miscellaneous Revenues Section 1: All miscellaneous receipts of revenues from all purposes not hereby expressly reserved or appropriated shall be available to any appropriation herein provided for not payable out of specific funds. -5- (ORD. NO. 176) Article VII - cont. Section 2: All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general appropriation made in this ordinance be expended in making up any insufficiencr in any item or items in the same general appropriation fund for the same general purpose. Section 3: All unexpended balances from the annual appropriation of previous years are hereby reappropriated. Article VIII Effective Date This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this 10th day of July, 1961.
