HOMESITES SAID PROPERTY BEING ON THE EAST SIDE OF RIDGE
AVENUE SOME 422 FEET riORE OR LESS NORTH OF THE NORTH
LINE OF LAUREL STREET
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Cook County, Illinois by Robert Kopfer and Shirley Kopfer# his wife#
being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and territory
for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village and the sole electors
residing thereon, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said petitioners under oath and in all respects complies with the
requirements of the statute, in such case made and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of said Village having examined
said petition believe it to be to the best intereet of said Village+ that said
territory be annexed thereto#
NQK4 THEREFORE, BE IT ORAAMP by the President and Board of Trugtesp of the
Village of Elk Grove Village# Cook County# Illinois]
SECTION 1 That the land and territory desitribed in the above mentioned petition
to wits
Lot 135 in BranigarIs Forest View Homesites, a
subdivision of part of Section 28, Township 41
North, Range 11# East of the Third Principal
Meridian according to the play thereof recPV40
September 9, 1955, as Document 16356261, in Cook
County, Illinois:
Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not
within the limits of any municipality, contains two electors residing.
thereon who have joined in the petition and is unincorporated being and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and
limits of said village as is by law in such case made and provided.
SECTION 2 The Village Clerk of the Village is hereby directed to record a
certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of the annexed
territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
