wHEN.EASj the parking of vehicle's along curved streets, restricts the movement of
traffic and emergency vehicle's in the discharge of their duties, and
WHEREAS, the parking of vehicles near school playgrounds endangers children,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by.the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Municipal diode of Elk Grove Village of 1961 be and is hereby
amended and supplemented by adding thereto the following:
Section 14.512. Additional No Parking Streets and Areas: It shall be unlawful
for any person, firm or corporation .to permit ,any vehicle to stand in any of the
following places, except when nscessry`to"avoid conflict with other traffic, in
compliance with police direction, or to discharge passengers. Said places in which
parking is prohibited are as follows:
(1) The west side" of Tanglewood Drive from the east lot line of property commonly
known as 170 Tanglewood Drive to the south lot line of property commonly known as
132 Tanglewood Drive.
(2) On the east and north sides of Ridgewood Road from Oakton Street to Crest
Ave nue .
(3) On the west side of Crest Avenue from Ridgewood Road to Woodcrest Lane.
(4) On the west side of Germaimlahe from the north lot line of property commonly
known as 210 Germaim Lane to the south lot line of property commonly known as 500
Cermaiw Lane.
(5) On the west side of Charing Cross Road from the east lot line of property commonly
kx �rn as 328 Charing Cross Road• to the east lot line of property commonly known as
7Charing Cross Road.
(6) On the east side of Sussex Court from the west lot line of propertycommonly
known as 589 Sussex Court to the north lot line of property commonly known as 569
Sussex Court.
(7) On the west side of Bonita Avenue from the north lot line of property commonly
known as 740 Bonita Avenue to the east lot line of property commonly known as 774
Bonita Avenue.
(8) On the east side of Elmwood lane from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 1157 Elmwood Lane to the north lot line of property commonly known as
1125 Elmwood Lane.
(9) On the east side of Bosworth Lane from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 1195 Bosworth Lane to the north lot line of property caumonly known as
1187 Bosworth lane.
(10) On the west side of Warwick Lane from the south lot line of property commonly
known as 1074 4darwick Lane to the east lot line of property commonly known as 10.8
Warwick Lane.
(11) On the east side of Springdale Lane from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 1231 Springdale Lane to the north lot line of property commonly known as
1217 Springdale Lane.
(12) On the south side of Sycamore Drive from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 1271 Aspen Lane to the east lot line of property commonly known as 521
6yeamore Drive.
(13) On the south side of Dogwood Trail from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 561 Dogwood Trail to the north lot line of property commonly known as 581
Dogwood Trail.

(14) On the south side of Sycamore Drive from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 623 Sycamore Drive to the north lot line of property commonly known as 651
Sycamore Drive.
(15) On the west side of Hartford Lane from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 1158 Hartford Lane to the north lot line of property commonly known as 1118
Hartford Lane.
(16) On the south side of Edgeware Road from the west lot line of property commonly
known as 205 Edgeware Road to the north lot line of property commonly known as 221
Edgeware Road.
(17) On the west side of Ridge Avenue from a point forty (40) yards south of
Laurel Street to the north driveway entrance of Ridge School.
The aforementioned numerical designations refer to street addresses in the Village
of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage,
approval and publication according to law.
