AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE PROVIDING FOR STOP INTERSECTIONS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT CRDAINEED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 111.204 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Cook County, Illinois is amended to read as follows:
111.204 Stop Intersections. It shall be unlawful to drive any vehicle into the
intersection at any intersection designated by the President and Board of Trustees
as stop intersections without first bringing such vehicle to a said stop within ten
feet of said intersection. The following intersections are designated as stop
intersections:
1. All traffic on Nicholas Blvd. shall stop before entering
in or across Estes Avenue, in the Village of Elk Grove
Village.
2. All traffic on Estes Avenue shall stop before entering
in or across Route 83 (also known as Busse Road and
Elmhurst Road also known as York Road), in the Village
of Elk Grove Village.
3. All traffic on Elk Grove Blvd., Ridge Court, Birch-
wood Ave., Spruce Lane, Clearmont Drive, Fern Drive,
Peach Tree Lane, Springdale Lane, and Walnut Lane
shall stop before entering in or across Ridge Ave.,
in the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication according to law.
