AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTA Ilv ]R OPFhTIES LOCATiSD SUUTH OF OAKON STR<, NORTH
OF LANDMEIER ROAD AND EAST OF TUNNE ROAD AS EXTENDED
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village of calk Grove Village,
Cook County, Illinois, by the Great Northern Development Company, a Delaware
corporation, being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter described land and
territory for annexation to the Villa6e of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing thereon, and
V41EHEAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHisxEAS, said petition is under oatn and in all respects complies with the
requirements of the statute in such case made and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village
have examined said petition, believe it to be to the beat interest of said Village
that said territory be annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, Bi, IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That land and territory described in the above mentioned petition,
towit:
Parcel 1 That part of the West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from a point
130.63 feet South of the Northeast corner of said West half of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter to a point 779.35 feet
South of the Northwest corner of said West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 27; ALSO
That part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 27, lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from
a point in the North line of said East half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter 134.21 feet bast of the Northwest corner
thereof, to a point in the West line of said East half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter 130.63 feet South of the Northwest
corner thereof; A1.50
The West half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter and
the West 100 feet of the East half of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 27, all in Cook County, Illinois.
Parcel 2 That part of the East 167.33 feet of the West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, Towns -lip 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian lying North of the
center line of Iandmeier Road and Southeasterly of a line drawn

from a point on the East line of said West half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, 436.98 feet South of the North-
east corner thereof, to a point in the East line of the West 105
feet of said West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 27, 970.32 feet South of the North line of said
West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter and
194.34 feet North of the intersection of said East line of the West
105 feet and center line of said Landmeier Road; ALSO
The East half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 27 (except the South 82.50 feet of the East 82.50 feet
thereof, and except that part lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from
a point in the North line of said :'ast half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter 46(.17 feet East of the Northwest
corner thereof, to a point in the West line of said East half of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter 436.98 feet South of the
Northwest corner thereof); ALSO
That part of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 27, lying Northeasterly of the center line of Landmeier Road
(except that part described as follows: beginning at the Northeast
corner of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 27, and extending West along the North line of the Southwest
quarter 82,5 feet; thence Southerly 199.73 feet, as measured along a
line 8215 feet West of and parallel to the East line of said North-
West quarter of the Southwest quarter, to a point on center line
of Landmeier Road; thence Southeasterly 89.8 feet as measured along
said center line to a point on the East line of the Northwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter; thence Northerly along said East line
234.65 feet to the place of beginning), all in Cook County, Illinois;
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within
the limits of any municipality, contains no electors residing thereon, and is
not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall be
included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law
in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby
directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate
plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, according to law.
