REGARDING PROPERTY SOUTH OF OAKTON STREET, NORTH OF LANDmEIER kcUAD AND hAST
OF TONNE ROAD AS EXTENDED
WHE1tE:AS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village of
Elk Grove Village, sitting as a commission at a public meeting duly called and
held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying from R-11
Residential District, to R-3, Residential District, the real estate hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having considered the recommendations
of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that the highest and best use
of the real estate herein is that of R-3, Residential District use;
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance to regulate and limit the
height and bulk of buildings, to regulate and limit the intensity of the use
of lot areas, and to regulate and determine the areas of open spaces within and
surrounding such buildings; to classify, regulate and restrict the location
of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for specified
industrial, business, residential and other uses; to divide the entire Village
of Elk Grove Village into districts for the purpose of this ordinance; to fix
standards to which buildings or structures shall conform; to prohibit uses,
bc:ldings or structures incompatible with the character of such districts re-
spectively; and to prevent additions to and alterations or remodeling of existing
buildings or structures in such a way as to avoid the restrictions and limita-
tions lawfully imposed hereunder, and to provide penalties for violation hereof,"
passed and approved July 81 1957, known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended; be amended
by reclassifying from R-11 Residential District, to R-3, Residential District,
the following described real estate:
Parcel 1 That part of the West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from a point
130.63 feet S outh of the Northeast corner of said West half of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter to a point 779.35 feet
South of the Northwest corner of said West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 27; AISO
That part of the Last half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 27, lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from
a point in the North line of said East half of the Southwest quarter
of the North west quarter 134.21 feet East of the Northwest corner
thereof, to a point in the West line of said East half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter 130.63 feet South of the Northwest
corner thereof; ALSO

The West half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter and the
West 100 feet of the East half of the northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 270 all in Cook County, Illinois.
Parcel 2 That part of the East 167.33 feet of the West half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian lying North of the center line of
Landmeier Road and Southeasterly of a line drawn from a point on the
East line of said West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 27, 436.98 feet South of the Northeast corner thereof,
to a point in the East line of the West 105 feet of said West half of
the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, 970.32 feet
South of the North line of said West half of the Southwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter and 194.34 feet North of the intersection of said
East line of the West 105 feet and center line of said Landmeier Road;
ALSO
The East half of the Southwest quarter of the North west quarter of said
Section 27 (except the South 82.50 feet of the East 82.50 feet thereof,
and except that part lying Northwesterly of a line drawn from a point
in the North line of said East half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter 460.17 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof, to a point in
the West line of said East half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter 436.98 feet South of the Northwest corner thereof); ALSO
That part of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section
279 lying Northeasterly of the center line of Landmeier Road (except that
part described as follows: beginning at the Northeast corner of the North-
west quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 27, and extending
West along the North line of the Southwest quarter 82.5 feet; thence
Southerly 199.73 feet, as measured along a line 82.5 feet West of and
parallel to the East line of said Northwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter, to a point on center line of Landmeier Road; thence Southeasterly
89.8 feet as measured along said center line to a point on the East line
of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter; thence Northerly along
said East line 234.65 feet to the place of beginning), all in Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to all
the limitations and conditions placed upon properties in the R-3, Resi-
dential District, as defined in said ordinance heretofore mentioned.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects
of refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions
of this ordinercg, shall be fined not more than One hundred (u100) Dollars for each
offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a

separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication according to law.
