AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR FEES FOR HEARINGS BEFORE THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
AND PROSCRIBING THE TIME FOR HEARINGS BEFORE SAID BOARD, AMENDING AND SUPPLE-
MENTING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE III OF THE MUNICIPAL CO -E OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOU, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Chapter 7, Article III of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village
be and is hereby amended by adding the following:
117.305. Fees. All petitioners filing applications directed to the ?bard of
Zoning Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village shall pay a filing fee of
Thirty-five (335) Dollars to the Village Clerk, and in addition shall deposit
the sum of Ninety ($90) Dollars to cover the cost of a court reporter's tran-
scribing the proceeding before said Board of Zoning Appeals. At the request of
the petitioner, the President and Board of Trustees may waive said 390 deposit
provided either the petitioner agrees to provide his own court reporter and a
copy of the transcript of the proceedings had before the Board of Zoning Appeals,
or the petitioner demonstrates to the President and Board of Trustees that the
public interest is not sufficiently affected so as to justify a transcription
of the proceedings had before said Board of Zoning Appeals.
"7.306. Meetings. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall conduct its regular meetings
on the third (3rd) Thursday of each month. However, a petitioner may request
a special meeting to hear l:s particular case, in which case there shall be an
additional fee of Forty (340) Dollars for said special meeting."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 2nd day of October, 1961.
