AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE A. F. P. -M(7,LAR MART SYSTEM TO MAKE 'ERTAIN

WHEREAS, the A. F. P. Burglar Alarm System provides a burglar alarm service to
certain manufacturing and business establishments located within the corporate
limits of the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
"W' ?EAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the Village of Elk Grove Village and
the A. F. P. Burglar Alarm System and clients of said System that certain alarm
installations be placed upon Village owned and / or leased property so as to
better effectuate its burglar alarm service,
N94, PHERFFORE, B,' IT O iDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That permission and authority is hereby granted to the A. F. P.
Burglar Alarm System to install upon premises o-ned or leased by the Village of
Elk Grove Village burglar alarm equipment customarily used in its burglar alarm
services, said permission to be for a period of one year from and after the date
of passage and approval of this ordinance and thereafter until terminated by
six months prior written notice by either t')e Village or the A. F. P. Burglar
Alarm System.
Section 2. That all equipment installations made to and upon Village property by
the A. F. P. `burglar Alarm System shall `,e made in accordance -ith the ordinances
of said Villa7e and ;hall be placed in sup locations as the Police Chief shall
direct; that the Village reserves the right to direct the A. F. P. Burglar Alarm
System to change the location oir its equipment so as to conform with the Village
operations; that all cost occasioned by the installation, relocation, or removal
of said equipment shall he born by t -e A. F. P. Burglar Alarm System.
Sectior 3. The A. F. P. Bur -lar Alarm System shall, at its own expense, indemnify
and save harmless the Village from anv and all damage, judgmrnts, costs and
e-nenses of evfry king which may arise or res�ilt by reason of or in consequence
of the actions or ne^lett of the A. F. P. "iur^lar Alarm System, its agents or
servants, to fully comply with the 'provisions of this ordinance, and will save
and keen harmless the Village from any and all damages, judgments, costs and
expenses caused by or incidental to or in any manner resulting from the installa-
tion and maintenance of its equipment unon Villane property. The A. F. P. Burglar
Alarm System waives and releases any and all claims which it now has or may
hereafter acquire against t'e Villa e, arising from or growing out of any damage
to the property of the System resultine from an act or an omission of the Village,
its agents and employees.
Section 4. Permission and authority herein granted is upon the express con-
dition ttatthe A. F. P. Burglar Alamo System as a consideration therefor and
as compensation for the use of Village property, pay to the Villa7e the sum of

Twenty-five ( A) Dollars per year plus the spun of Ten (.,10) Dollars per year for
each company or ousiness using the burglar alarm system and located within the
Villa' -e of Flk Grove Village; said payments to be made on July 1, 1961 and on
the first of July each year t'ereafter.
Section A In the event that the A. F. P. 9urglar Alarm System shall default in
the performance of any obligation imposed by this ordinance for whatever reason,
the Village n£ Pik Grove Village shall have the rights upon thirty (30) days
smitten notice to terminate the nrivileres and ri-hts granted hereunder. Nothing
in this ordinance shall be construe' as preventing the Village from rrantin^
like permission and authority to any o.her person, firm or corporation.
Section 6. Phis ordinance shall he in full force and effect from and after its
passnpe and approval, upon the filing 4th the Village Clerk by the A. 7. P.
Rurelar System At thirty (30) days after passage and approval of this ordinance,
its written and unconditional accentanee thereof.
