WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk. Grove Village sitting as a Commission at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered the question of reclassifying from 11R-1" Twenty, Thousand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling District to "R-3" Six Thousand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling District, the real estate hereinafter described; and, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, having "considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that the highest and best use fcr the real estate herein is that of 11R-3" Six Thou- sand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1. That an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance to regulate and limit the height and bulk buildings; to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas, and to regulate and determine the areas of open spaces within and surrounding such buildings; to ci assify, regulate and re- strict the location of trades kind industries and the location of buildings de- signed for specified industrial„ business, residential and other saes; to divide the entire Village of Elk Grove Village into districts for the purpose of this ordinance; to fix standards to which buildings or structures shell conform; to prohibit uses„ buildings or structures incompatible with the character of such districts respectively; and to prevent additions to and alterations or remodeling of euisting buildings or structures in such a way as to avoid the restrictions and limitations lawfully imposed hereunder, and to provide penalties for violation hereof11 passed and approved July S, 1957, known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended, be further amended by reclassify- ing from 17-1" Twenty Thousand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling District to 11R-3" Six Thousand Square Phot Single Family Dwelling District, the following real estate: That part (except the West 200 feet of the North 450 feet of the West 499.91 feet of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian lying North of the North line of the premises conveyed by Herman M. Pfleger to George A. Brady and otherwise by deed dated December 10, 1936 and recorded December 2l, 1936 as Document No. 11925492 in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION Z. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to all limitations and conditions placed upon properties in "R-3" Six Thou- sand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling District as defined in said Ordinance heretofore mentioned. SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys; omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100. 00) Dollars for each offense and each day that a violation is permitted to •_-xist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 4.. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
