AN ORDINANCE annexing Lot 73 in
Branigar°s Forest View Homesites
to the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by CHARLES Co NEVILLE
and GERALDINE N. NEVILLE, his wife, being the sole owners of
record of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexa-
tion to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and there are no elector«
residing thereon; and,
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corpor-
ate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Village, is uninhabited; and,
WHEREAS, the said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made and
provided; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it
to be to the beat interests of the municipality that such territory be
annexed thereto, Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILI AGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That the lands and territory described in maid
petition, to -wit:
Lot 73 in Branigar's Forest View Homesites,
a Subdivision of part of Section 28, Township
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian, according to the plat thereof
recorded September 9, 1955, as Document
16356261, in Cook County, Illinois,

which territory is contiguous to the Village of Ell; Grove Village,
is not embraced thereon, is uninhabited, and is a reincorporated, be
and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove `Tillage
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village as is by law in such case made and
provided.
SECTION 2. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby
directed to record a certified copy of t1 -As ordinance, together with
an accurate map of said annexed territory, with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
