AN ORDINANCE annexing certain lands
to the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Elk Grove Village by CHICAGO TITLE AND TRUST
COMPANY, and Illinois Corporation, as Trustee under Trust No, 38909,
and not personallyo being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter
described land and territoryo requesting annexation of said tract of land
to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is uninhabited and has no electos residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case wade and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the question of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to be
to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be annexed
thereto, Now, Therefore;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That the lands and territory described in said petition to -wits
That part of the East half, by linear measure of Lot 12, lying
South of the North 707, 66 feet thereof (except from said tracts
the South 51 feet of the East 1841 feet thereof and that part of
South 165 feet thereof, lying West of the East 1001 feet thereat)
in Subdivision of the Estate of Henry Landmeier, being parts of
Sections 26 and 35, Township 41 North, Range It. East of the
Third Principal Meridian, according to plat acknowledged on
Dec. 4, 1916 by Richard H, Landmeier, Albert Landmeter,
Otto Landmeier and Gustav Landmeier and filed on March. 2, 1917
in the Office of the Registrar of Titles, in Cook County, Illinois
as Doc. 70396
which territory is contiguous to the Village of la'lk Grove Village„ is
not embraced thereon,, is tininha.bited, rontc4lns no elec.tord residing
thereon„ and is unincorporated, be a -Lid the sam- e is hereby annexed to
thu Village of balk Gsrove. Village so thatt hereafter said territory shall
be included within tte boundary lines and limits of said Village as is
by law in such case w a.de and provided.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of thia Village is hereby directed
to record a certified s:oay of this ordinance„ together with en atccuritte
map of .annexed territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cools County,
Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordbiance shall be in fiW force and effect
from and after its pasoage and approval according to law.
